CEMENTITIOUS SPRAY FIREPROOFING
STANDARD DENSITY FIREPROOFING
Proven in place performance on interior structural members make these products the most widely used fireproofing materials in the world. The products are cost effective because of the ease of spray applications to protect steel and concrete substrates. These products provide the maximum flexibility to fit a wide variety of job site conditions. Typically used in Interior Concealed Applications.
Monokote MK-6
Proven in place performance on interior structural steel makes it the most widely used fireproofing in the world. MK-6 is a low cost, gypsum based cementitious spray applied fireproofing designed for easy, fast application to steel and concrete substrates. Available in two different formulations, Monokote affords greater flexability for both small and large projects.
Monokote MK-6/HY
Monokote MK-6/HY utilizes the patented injection system to provide maximum yield and quickset finish. Perfect for medium to large scale projects where high production and maximum yield are critical.
Monokote MK-6/HY Extended Set
Monokote MK-6/HY Extended Set fireproofing is the newest innovation in the MK-6/HY technology. It increases applicator productivity and minimizes the impact of fireproofing on the construction schedule. The single component, mill-mixed, cementitious fireproofing plaster has a delayed set feature which allows it to be left unattended in the delivery system for up to 4 days. MK-6/HY Extended Set is approved for use on structural steel columns, beams, joist, trusses, floors and roof decking in the UL Fire Resistance Directory.
Monokote MK-6S
Monokote MK-6s is formulated for use without injection. It is the product of choice where fast equipment set-up and mobility may be factors.
MEDIUM DENSITY FIREPROOFING
Designed for applications where the potential for physical abuse is a consideration. These products offer increased bond strength and density over the low density materials. Typically used on Interior Exposed Applications.
Monokote Z-106
Monokote Z-106 is a Portland cement based, medium density, cementitious fireproofing designed to meet specific commercial and industrial fire protection requirements on structural steel members, floor/ceiling and roof/ceiling assemblies. It is very hard, moisture resistant and suitable for interior areas, which require resistance to repeated physical contact and or high humidity. Suitable for interior or exposed construction within parking garages, gymnasiums, equipment rooms, and swimming pool areas.
Monokote Z-106 G
A gypsum based, cementitious fireproofing designed to provide commercial and industrial fire protection on structural steel members, floor/ceiling, roof/ceiling and wall assemblies. Monokote Z-105 G is designed to meet interior exposed product requirements where the superior durability and water resistance of Portland cement products are not required.
Monokote Z-106/HY
This is a 100 % Portland cement binder, cement based, medium density fireproofing. In addition to its moisture resistance and durability Z-106/HY incorporates the application benefits of Z-106/HY including patented injection technology for fast set and improved hangability. It provides superior durability for interior, exposed applications.
HIGH DENSITY FIREPROOFING
Designed for use in applications where environmental or climate conditions exist. It is a durable product that is excellent for use in high traffic areas such as parking garages. Typically used in Interior and Exterior Exposed Applications.
Monokote Z-146
Monokote Z-146 is a Portland cement based, high density, cementitious fireproofing designed to high durability standards for the protection of interior and exterior structural members. It provides high density, concete-like protection and can be spray applied to either interior or exterior areas. Suitable for interior and exterior exposed construction within manufacturing, transportation, industrial, warehouse facilities and parking garages.
INDUSTRIAL FIREPROOFING
Monokote Z-3306
A spray applied thermal barrier designed to protect foam plastic insulation from the effects of heat and fire. Monokote Z-3306 is applied over plastic foam insulation where it forms a hard, durable, monolithic thermal barrier. Typically used to protect foam freezers, conditioned atmosphere storage areas and water treatment plants.
