40-20 Continuous Defense
Continuous Defense Fungicidal Protective Coating (40-20) is the industry's leading EPA registered, antimicrobial coating for HVAC duct systems with ten years of proven effectiveness. It is formulated to effectively prevent the spread of mold and odor causing bacteria on its surface in areas, such as walls, ceilings, pipes and interior/exterior surfaces of HVAC duct systems.
This product is a polyacrylate copolymer emulsion specifically formulated for long-term fungicidal activity, with no loss of activity on aging. Its tough, elastic, decorative finish is resistant to most industrial chemicals and it is ultra-flexible to allow for movement without splitting, which prevents lodging places for bacteria - making it ideal in industrial and institutional settings.
40-25 Full Defense
Full Defense is the only EPA registered coating that kills residual mold and mildew and protects surfaces from mold re-growth. Its high coverage, breathable coating is designed to provide long term fungicidal protection in residential and commercial mold remediation projects. Full Defense low viscosity, high solids formulation allows for easy application and provides excellent coverage (up to 300 square feet per gallon) and hiding properties.
40-30 Fungicidal Protective Coating
40-30 Fungicidal Protective Coating guards against the re-growth and spread of odor causing bacteria and molds on the surface of the coated HVAC system or its treated components only. As a result, the building occupants may enjoy a work space free of the odor problems often associated with contaminated HVAC duct systems. 40-30 dries to form an effective air erosion preventive surfacing material sealing and reinforcing the surface of new or aged duct liner insulation materials.
40-30 is non-flammable when wet and extremely fire resistive when dry. When tested on both faced and unfaced fiberglass duct liner insulation, the 40-30 produced flame and smoke ratings below the 25/50 NFPA 90A and 90B requirements. The dry film stays flexible and moisture resistant. It will not cause flash rusting on metal surfaces.
40-30 contains no asbestos, lead, mercury, or mercury compounds.
40-50 Mold Resistant Coating
40-50 Mold Resistant Coating is the highest quality, low viscosity mold resistant coating on the market today. It also provides ideal protection of its surface in areas prone to mold growth. A tough, water resistant coating for use in areas prone to the growth of mold. 40-50 is specially formulated with select EPA registered antimicrobial agents to provide long-term protection against odor causing bacteria, mold and mildew growth on its surface. It is ideal for use in attic spaces, wall cavities, crawl spaces, floor joists or wherever mold remediation has occurred.
40-50 can be used over a variety of surfaces such as wood studs, OSB, plywood, painted surfaces, wall board, masonry, and metal. It is applied at a coverage rate of 300 sq ft/gallon for fast drying and low odor application. Foster 40-50 is low viscosity and has good body which allows easy application with most airless spray equipment or by brush or roller. A water-based formulation allows for non-hazardous application and use when applied according to instructions and can be used for industrial, commercial, residential, hospital and school applications.
40-51 Mould Resistant Coating
The 40-51 Mould Resistant Clear Coat is a low viscosity, which allows it to be easily applied by hand or virtually any airless spray system. It works well on a wide variety of surfaces; wood, painted surfaces, wall board, masonry surfaces and metal. The 40-51 appears white when wet, but dries to a clear finish, allowing the original surface to be visible beneath the coating. The inconspicuous nature of the finish offers benefits beyond simple aesthetics. Because the original condition of the surface is visible and not hidden behind a coating, Industrial Hygienists, Consultants, and Building Owners will be able to confirm that surfaces were clean prior to inspection. Ideal for a variety of applications; industrial, commercial, residential, hospitals, schools, and food processing plants. Over time 40-51 will be highly resistant to staining caused by chemicals, mould and mildew. The formulation is based upon a durable acrylic polymer and contains blocking agents to help protect it from UV degradation. It also has excellent water resistance and will not blush once fully cures.
Clear Defense 40-55 Mold Resistant Clear Coating
Clear Defense 40-55 is a multi-purpose clear coating specifically designed to protect and maintain the aesthetics of residential, commercial and industrial surfaces. Formulated with EPA registered additives, Clear Defense provides long-term resistance to the growth of algae, mold, mildew and other fungus on the coatings surface.
40-80 Disinfectant
The 40-80 Disinfectant is a convenient, one step EPA Registered formulation to kill odor-causing bacteria and inhibit the growth of mould and mildew. This all in one disinfectant, sanitizer, cleaner, fungicide, mildewsat, germicide and deodorizer is designed for use in water damage restoration and clean up of mould and microbe impacted porous and non-porous materials. This is a full-strength disinfectant, and comes in a convenient ready-to-use dilution. The 40-80 has been evaluated in the presence of 6 % serum by the AOCA Use-Dilution test and found to be effective against broad spectrum of gram-negative and gram-positive organisms. The 40-80 is ready-to-use and does not require end-users to work with a corrosive or dangerous concentrate. Concerns about under dilution or excess material disposal are eliminated.
42-42 Mould Resistant Sealer
42-42 Mold Resistant Sealer is an easy-to-use, specially formulated, low viscosity sealer designed to provide water resistance to building materials and a coating that is resistant to mold growth.
The product contains water resistant polymers to mitigate water penetration and fungistatic agents that provide long-term resistance to the growth of mold or mildew on its surface.
This advance formulation allows the product to inhibit mold growth both during the construction phase and after the walls of the structure have been enclosed. The 42-42 is excellent for use in new construction, as well as remodeling projects, where moisture leading to mold growth is a concern.
