Today architects and contractors are looking for new ways to protect interior wood, drywall and other substrates in office buildings, health care facilities, as well as other commercial structures. Krytiuk Specialty Contracting Inc. has applied intumescent paint to a great variety of project, from structural steel members / beams (exposed and non) to open web steel joist, load bearing columns, to the interior of office buildings and private residences. The intumescent paint will give up to a 3 hour fire rating (depending on thickness). Intumescent paint is available in a water based, and solvent based solution, as well as a specific solvent based paint made for exterior use. Krytiuk Specialty Contracting highly recommends the use of Ston-Cor Nullfire products.
